I am a mother and grandmother. My professional experience includes providing doula care for over 12 years. I received my certification as an early childhood education specialist in the States of Iowa and Kansas. I was also a licensed home daycare provider in Kansas. I would like to find a family with a young child/ren in need of a loving, nurturing nanny. I enjoy creating supportive learning environments for children wherever we may be, whether that is in a chair with a book, on the floor with toys, in the kitchen, garden, at the library or parks. I am a low screen-time provider, but value their limited use. I am fine with meal preparation and light house keeping which come with child care. Hello! I absolutely love children of all ages. In high school and college, I baby sat children from a few weeks old to 12 years. I have worked with a lot of multiple-children families and am comfortable with multi-tasking.     I love active play as well as doing art projects and baking with the children that I am caring for. I don’t believe that you are paying me to watch your children watch television, so I try to make sure we are always doing some sort of activity. I have tutored children in many subjects and if your kids are school-aged, their homework is a priority of mine.   I speak Spanish at a conversational level and am always up for teaching kids some basic Spanish while I am with them.
