Blessings! I’m Rosana (: I love devoting my time to my family and enjoying the outdoors. I’ve been caring for children for 7+ years including children with special needs. I also have experience as a homeschool tutor and a homeschool enrichment physical education instructor. I worked at a daycare that cared for infants as young as 2 months to children up to the age of 8. I enjoy lots of outdoor activities such as taking kids to the park as well as doing arts and crafts. My most recent job was as a full time nanny to one year old twins and their 7 and 8 year old siblings. That job involved cleaning, light chores and cooking nutritious meals. I’ve also nannied for multiple overnight stays including school pickups and drop offs. I have taken some nursing and nutrition courses and am First Aid and CPR certified. I adore all animals so any family pet is no issue for me. Children are very pure and have taught me so much patience and have shown me that life is constantly a learning experience. Hello! I’m Brittney! I’m a 25 year old bubbly gal! I’m very creative, artsy and love all things in life! I spent the last six years between 2019-2024 traveling the United States and part of Canada touring with a childrens entertainment company that featured dinosaurs; that was not only educational, but also a fun carnival for kids! I moved home this last year to take care of my parents as they age, soon I worked as a caregiver with memory care residents. For the last few months I have been in the process of becoming certified through the state to be a daycare provider but that fell through. Although I have done multiple classes for infant and child care and safety! I also have 10 nieces and nephews whom I’ve helped babysit, protect and teach! Anyways! I have over 131 training hours in early childhood, in safety, diversity, CPR certified, emergency training, food handlers card and more. I have worked in a center setting for 3 years. With up to 8 kids at a time. I was a parent attending the program prior to that with my own child as well. I am comfortable around kids and pets and they like me too! I am looking to branch out from the center environment and have a more comfortable in home experience to be closer to my own son as well. I love bringing new craft ideas and fun activities to do. Everyday is different, today we might make play dough but tomorrow we might do spray bottle art. With me the kids will be safe and have fun everyday!

My work with children has varied over the years. In the past I spent time babysitting between a few close families as more of a side job. I spent several years in high end kitchens training to create some of the best dishes in the valley. Fine dining has allowed me to develop a serious passion for quality foods, centralizing around local, simple ingredients. This is a skill I greatly enjoy combining with childcare, as I believe children thrive when given quality nutrients. I’ve spent the last school year working at The Medford Montessori School with 4th and 5th graders in an educational cooking program. The focus of Montessori is to give children the room and tools to become independent. This experience opened my eyes to the capabilities of young children when given a suitable environment. Throughout this summer I have been working with 15-25 children each week, ages 4-10, at our Montessori inspired Farm Camp. A typical day consists of a long walk around the farm, a hands on class where the children learn to bake or create a cold snack all by themselves, a craft, and guided free play with intermittent group games. While I have great appreciation for the excitement of a large group, my recent desire is to be able to routinely build upon a relationship with a few children from one family. My core beliefs are a combination of that of Montessori and Waldorf education, with my own personal emphasis on nature. I greatly enjoy spending time outside, with animals, and in the kitchen.
