I havd watched children ranging in ages from infant to pre teen. I have experience teaching sunday school at my church and watching the kids in the nursery during the service. My experience as a childcare worker is extensive. I have been a nanny, babysitter, household assistant, pet-sitter, and caregiver. I come from a big family growing up with 7 other siblings in the household. I'm the oldest daughter of 5 other siblings. Being the oldest daughter came with a lot of responsibilities. Growing up throughout the years I spent those periods being the surrogate parent to my younger siblings, always being on call for my mother 24/7/365. Watching over kids started when I would do little babysitting jobs for my mothers friends, while they worked or went out, and that's when I knew I was good with kids, and loved being around them. I am First Aid and CPR certified, I also took 2 Childhood Development classes in 10th and 11th grade. Life with children can be unpredictable and I know I'm able to adapt to the situations they face. I worked at Allegheny Hospital for 3 years and Lifesteps for 2 years. I quit the hospital to take care of a 3 month old which she is now a happy, healthy 36 month old but she is going to move to Florida soon and I don’t want to go so I would really like taking care of another child!!! I love playing games, reading, doing puzzles, going to parks and playgrounds, teaching new things, cooking and just loving them!!! I have my background clearances child clearances CPR trained, first aide trained, CPI trained and I do not smoke!!! I had my flu shot hepatitis b shot and Tb shots! I drive a Jeep renegade and was the best student in school!!! I worked 65 hours a week 8:30 a.m.-8-ish p.m. Monday-Saturday and my only day off was Sunday! I am very patient and very easy 2 get along with thank you for your time in reading all of this!!!! I am also fully Covid and booster vaccinated!!! I am currently working at Saint John’s Specialty Care as a CNA so I am close to doctors and nurses and I just got employee of the month there! I have known my whole life that I want to work with kids. I’ve spent many years babysitting children ages 1 to 10, and I also work with elementary students ages 5 to 13 through the HOST after-school program, helping with homework, leading fun activities, preparing snacks, and keeping kids safe.
