I am a registered nurse. I am certified in Pediatric & Adult CPR, First Aid, and Basic Life Support. I have been providing care for children since I was twelve years old. I would provide care for a lot of my neighbors, friends, family, and friends of my family members. They would refer me to anyone they knew who was looking for childcare. Since my husband has been in the military, we have lived in Tampa for four years, Hawaii for four years, Texas for one year, Washington state for two years and now back in Maryland. While residing at these locations, I have provided care for a few of the military families that I had the pleasure of meeting. I provide care in my home because it allows me to be available for my children as well if there are any changes with school or if they need to stay home. However, I am open to possibly providing care in your home depending on the day, time, and situation. We can discuss if that would be an option. My house is very safe and child-friendly with plenty of toys and age-appropriate activities to keep your children entertained. I have so much love to give children but would prefer to get out of the childcare atmosphere due to how many closures we have on a regular basis. I am fully vaccinated with my vaccine and booster shot, however I still have to take a lot of time off work due to exposure and as a single mother, it’s becoming too often that I’m off work unpaid. I’m flexible with hours and pay and would work with the families needs. I live in Bel Air but do have my own car and license and willing to travel or provide drop off/pick up care. My son starts school in September and until then I’d like to get him in part time schooling or classes and keep him with me part time but that isn’t fully planned yet. Hi! I started babysitting when I was 13, I have always wanted to work with children. I babysat all the way through to becoming a licensed child care provider, which I have been for the past 21 years. I am cpr/1st aid certified, and every year I participate in no less than 12 hours of continuing education. I have 4 of my own children from 26 to 14 and I have one grandson who is 2. I love pets, we have dogs, cats, chinchillas, snakes, a turtle and a gecko. 3 of my 4 children have been homeschooled, which is exhausting and rewarding.
