I graduated from Duquesne University with a 3.6 gpa and a psychology degree. I grew up with little siblings. I have a 9 year old brother and he is my main source of experience. Taking care of him the past 9 years and watching him grow up has been the biggest joy of my life. I now work as a family service worker for the state and am around children most of the day!

I am a self employed woman at the moment. Which means my schedule is pretty open. I have worked in numerous daycares and have expense with multiple kids at many ages. I am CPR certified and have my CDA (Child development Associate credential) I have experience with diaper changes, house cleaning, meal prepping, potty training and more. I have taken many classes to understand the development and proper care of children from any age range.

I guess this part is where I'm supposed to brag about how I'm so qualified but I'm no more qualified than the average mother I grew up in a Seventh Day Adventist Church my father was an elder in that church and still is to this daywhere I would take care of the kids in the nursery I started doing that at the age of 8 taking care of the infants in there while the adults were worshiping. My adopted mother always said that kids were drawn to me I can communicate better with children than adults I always have been able. I had my first son when I was 17 years old my second son I had when I was 19 and I had my daughter when I was 22 I am now 38 so I've had a lot of experience being a mother I don't have a lot of the qualifications that most people would have while applying for this position but if you would just give me a shot I think you would be surprised
