Outside of that I grew up rough and was the oldest child who took on the mother role from a very young age so I really have lifelong experience! I realized that I did enjoy spending time with kids and making their days. It was then that I decided to begin babysitting; at 17 years old, I intended to volunteer but ended up getting paid for my assistance at a home daycare (in Ohio) with 5 or more children ranging from 6 months to 12 years old. My daily tasks included meal prep, light housekeeping, diaper changing, playtime, and nap time.
