I have been babysitting for different families for 2-3 years now and I have cared for my younger siblings and cousins when I was younger. I have also worked at a children’s tutoring center and in the childcare room at the YMCA gym so I have experience with children of all ages. I enjoy babysitting and getting to know the families that I babysit for.

I am a mom to 6 grown children. I am also a former elementary PE teacher and middle school coach. When caring for babies cuddling, singing, and reading is a fun way to spend awake times. I know that toddlers and big kids want to stay active and busy! Things I love- being outside, going on nature walks, bike rides and back yard explorations, finding frogs and lizards and making collections of beautiful leaves and rocks. I love birds, throwing baseball, shooting basketball, kicking soccer balls, throwing frisbees and footballs, jumping rope and coloring with side walk chalk. While inside coloring, playing with play doh and reading are my favorites. I enjoy sitting along side as legos or other sorts of creations are developed. I am an undefeated candy land opponent :). I am interested in part time jobs, covering for date nights, one time stays and possibly occasional overnights. Pets are fine with me.

I believe the brightness and color in the world is from the light of kids. They bring joy and life-changing lessons. Personally, my biggest rule is that kids deserve respect, too. They are the future of this world, so I take much pride in making sure they get great care. I've been babysitting since I was 14, I also volunteered at a church for years, teaching Bible studies on sundays and I helped coach gymnastic special Olympics team and traveled with them to compete. In the 2023 I was a paid full time caregiver for a newborn- toddler for a little over a year, from wake up to 5-6pm and getting ready to wind down for dinner. During my time at school, I took childhood development classes and was certified for CPR. I enjoy taking care of kids and showing them the good things in life, and I have had many different experiences.
