I have done childcare for over 35years. I have been married to my husband for 25yrs. We are parents of two girls and just finalized the adoption of our girls in February 2022! I have volunteered in the church nursery,been a preschool teacher, a part time nanny,and a babysitter to many families. My experience with children is a variety of ages. I have watched a newborn (2days after being home) all the way up to teenagers. Hi! My name is Ava, and I am currently a junior at the University of Tennessee studying Finance and Economics. I love children and come from a big family where I’m the oldest of 6 (current ages are 16-3 years old) and have babysitted countless of times for my parents. I additionally frequently volunteer at Muse, Knoxville, which has been so much fun teaching children about STEAM and the power of curiosity. I was a lifeguard in high school for about 3 years, so I have training in CPR, First Aid, and water safety. I moved to Tennessee in 2017 to care for my mother and eldest sister. I lost both in 2020. I have raised two son one is 30 and 26. I don't have grandchildren yet and when I decided to go back to work I wanted to be around children instead of being at a desk and do accounting. I love to see children play free and grow.
