I am a mother of 4 grown children and grandmother to 4 grandsons and a granddaughter. I have homeschooled my children and love spending time with them , watching them grow and succeed in their life's goals. I'm flexible and available any hours ant days. I have CPR certification and also Med certified.

I retired from the medical field, and I am ready to start new adventures! I love to learn, teach, and have fun while doing it.I believe that every child is unique, and I am adaptable. I grew up in a big family with 7 sisters. Being one of the oldest, taking care of kids has always been in my life. From babysitting for friends and my community, to managing a kid's cooking studio, I have gathered a lot of experience. I have babysat for children as young as 6 months and as old as 16. The cooking studio gave me opportunities to teach kids life skills while giving parents free time to take a break and relax. I currently am a licensed RBT working with kids with autism and have been enjoying aspects of the field but I would love to have a more personal experience and help make an impact on a family. The training I went through to gain this certification has given me the ability to identify functions of behavior and the tools to deal with them in the best individualized way for each child. I will be renewing my CPR and First Aid certification as of 4/16/26 in order to get a refresher on those skills in my repertoire. On a more personal note, I am a very organized mind that operates off of lists and schedules while maintaining a fun and enjoyable environment. I would love to help teach children life skills and emotional regulation while also taking things off of parents' plates so they can connect more with their families. I'm really excited for this next part of this journey and thank you all for this opportunity! I work at the Goddard school in Farragut Tn and I been working with kids since I was like in elementary school I started out watch family members I go to Pellissippi State community college I am Junior there I study early childhood education and I have a dog.

Hello! I live in Powell with my husband and two dogs. I work full time in Occupational Therapy during the school year which I love! I’ve done that for the past nine years. I spend a lot of time staying active with hiking and camping. I love fishing and kayaking down Beaver Creek which is super close to where I live. I started babysitting in college and never stopped. I love being able to work with kids and enjoy a job that requires no paperwork. I have open availability in the afternoons and during breaks from school so I’m a great fit for a family needing help with elementary age. I have done childcare for over 35years. I have been married to my husband for 25yrs. We are parents of two girls and just finalized the adoption of our girls in February 2022! I have watched a newborn (2days after being home) all the way up to teenagers. I have taken care of multiple children at one time; this includes in-home care,daycare settings, in hotel rooms and also my own home as well!
