I have a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. I've been a nanny, for a 3-year-old boy who was visually impaired, and for sisters, a newborn and 15 months. Off and on I nannied for a family with three rambunctious 3 year olds. I've also nannied a 10-year-old for a summer, along with many other babysitting jobs here and there over the years. I spent time co-leading the youth group at my church for a year. I also have other professional experience working in a children's psychiatric facility, ages ranging from 4-17. I've also been the Assistant Site Director at an after school program for children, ranging from Kindergarten-8th grade. Hi, I’m Elizabeth! I’m currently in college completing my prerequisites for nursing, with a interest in pediatrics. I also work as a CNA at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, which has given me powerful hands-on experience caring for others and taught me how to be responsible, attentive, and compassionate. Although I currently work fewer hours, this gives me greater availability for babysitting. I also completed a semester-long EMR (Emergency Medical Responder) course in high school, where I became trained in CPR and AED care. Because of this experience, I feel confident staying calm and knowing how to respond appropriately if an emergency ever occurs. Beyond my experience and training, I’m a punctual, responsible, patient, and playful person.
