Hello! My name is Roxanne. I have been a nanny/caregiver for 20 years. I have also worked with children/adults with disabilities for most of this time. I have extensive experience supervising infants to teens, and multiple children. I moved to Utah from California a year and a half ago and absolutely LOVE it here. I had to say goodbye to the family I worked with for the last 6 years (2 awesome little monkeys I adore). Mama Bear is a doctor, so I worked her atypical schedule (every other week from 2-8, some holidays, some over-nighters, etc.). My "duties" included light housekeeping, meal/snack prep, school drop off/pick up, karate lessons, gymnastic practices, dentist appointments, having LOTS of fun, and loving on the kiddos as if they were my own family. I have been told I am a big kid at heart so its easy for me to "GET DOWN IN IT" with them. In my spare time I enjoy crafting, reading, watching movies, being out in nature, and spending time with my family. I have been married to my best friend for 26 years. I always wanted a tribe of kids, but it just wasn't in our cards. My good Lord has blessed us with lots of nieces/nephews and 5 wonderful godchildren we have had the privilege of helping to raise. I have a reliable vehicle (SUV to keep your precious cargo as safe as possible) with excellent insurance coverage. As you can see, I have done the extensive background checks to help assure you I am a safe place for your family. In this crazy world I KNOW how scary it is to leave your little ones in the hands of a "stranger". I am completely confident upon our meeting, you will know they are in good hands.

I’m recently back to Utah from living in Texas. While I was there in Texas I worked for 4 different families, all with variously different needs for care and routines. I’ve been babysitting for as long as I can remember. Around the age of 12 years old I remember watching some neighbors kids who I would make sure were fed and cleaned up and in bed. Then afterwards cleaning up the house once they were asleep. I enjoy seeing children’s face light up when learning something new and the pure imagination they have learning to understand this world. I’d love to have a family I can grow with and get to know well. I am currently a college student online, and am 20 years old. I have always enjoyed babysitting and being with kids. My mom had her own in-home childcare when I was ages of 12-15, and was always helping with the kids, since I was homeschooled as well. I have always been around kids and played with them a lot of the day as a child. Once I turned 16, I nannied a 6-year-old and a 10-year-old sister for a year. I have a lot of experience with infants, as well as with bottle feeding and diaper changing. I believe children shouldn't have much screen time, and should do many activities with their hands, and use their brains to figure things out during the day instead of watching a screen.
