I’m the proud mother of 3 girls who are now 21 twins and 17. I am interested in working with younger children again. My twins have cerebral palsy so I became a very involved stay at home mom. I loved teaching and playing with my children as they grew up.

I enjoy being with children, they are my little friends. I love reading, coloring, singing, dancing, listening music and getting the fresh air with them outside. We can be silly and loud and we can be quite and listen the wind.

Hi! My name is Amy! I'm very passionate about working with young children (0-5)! I enjoy engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities and taking them outside to play! Arts and crafts and sensory bins are fun to do on rainy days, or not so rainy days too! I really enjoy getting to know each of the children I work with and like to come up with activities to do with them based upon their interests. I have my bachelors degree in child and family development, a graduate level certificate called the EC-SEBRIS (early childhood socio-emotional behavior regulation intervention specialist certificate), as well as my masters in child development all from San Diego State University. I have worked with children of all ages ranging from infants and on up to thirteen year olds (with most of my experience working with infants and toddlers). I have interned in elementary schools, San Diego State University Children's Center, and head start programs before. I taught at a preschool as a toddler teacher for a year and a half. I have nannied and babysat for numerous families over the years including families with twins, multiples, and have done nanny shares before as well.
