Hello. My name is Tara. I have been working with children of all ages for over 20 years. I’ve worked as a nanny, I’ve had my own in home daycare, I’ve worked as a teacher at a Christian school. I’ve also worked at country clubs and a tennis club. Ive also worked as a therapy aid for disabled children at a learning center. I have potty trained, cooked and cleaned and have done homework with children. I’m CPR and first aid certified. I’ve done baby sign language classes and have taken children to library time and to basketball and soccer and to swim and also gymnastics. I enjoy taking children outside to play at the park and have picnics. I love teaching them new things!

I am looking for a family with active kids, full of energy, and that is ready to have a great time! Parents that wish their kids could be more active and outdoors are also welcome. :) (I also enjoy indoor activities, though!) I believe as much as kids can stay outside, playing, and distracted, the better, so they don't get bored or start missing their parents. I love to be out with kids, playground, pool, playing sports, riding a bike, chalking, playing tag, hide and seek, and enjoying the nice weather - if possible! Ps: If your kids like to learn new things, and some Portuguese (I'm from Brazil), I will be more than happy to teach them!

I have worked in preschools and with individual families receiving cpr and first aid training and extensive knowledge in child development. In each setting I was able to develop long term relationships with families with children from ages 12wks to 12years. I am strongly focused on making sure children have the best early childhood experiences because these moments really do shape their lives. I have been called a chameleon many times because I am able to use what I have learned and apply it directly to a child's specific needs. It is very important to me that children feel loved, happy, safe and confident in themselves. Through lots of messy crafts, silly songs, fun games and reading your child will grow past your expectations.

I enjoy being with children, they are my little friends. I love reading, coloring, singing, dancing, listening music and getting the fresh air with them outside. We can be silly and loud and we can be quite and listen the wind.
