I have been living in the SouthWest Virginia area for most of my life and am currently settling into the area! A little about me, I worked at a local daycare in Radford VA called Grace A Child, where I was the preschool teacher for two years. Some of the responsibilities I had as being the preschool teacher were potty training, lesson planning/ activities, evaluating children and communicating with families and providing a safe and comforting space for children. After leaving Grace A Child I began working at a childcare center in Blacksburg VA called Rainbow Riders with two year olds for close to two years where I started babysitting for about ten different families from weekend to weekend. I provided care for birthday party help, date nights, parents working on weekends and parents running errands with families of one to three children ranging from a year and a half to ten years old. Many families have said I do a great job at keeping their child safe, happy, calm and they looked forward to seeing me when I am scheduled to come care for them. I truly love caring for children and providing a safe comfortable space for them to explore the interests they have and grow self confidence in themselves.
