Howdy! 2026 update: I am now accepting new families to expand my list of regulars, as well as provide one-time childcare for visiting families. Feel free to reach out! My childcare career began about 13 years ago as a weekly volunteer and eventually as lead teacher at my church in San Antonio, Texas. It was there I met families that would become my very first clients. As time went by, my business grew fruitfully! I also began substitute teaching at ECC and elementary schools, including in special needs classrooms. - 13 years of childcare experience as a sitter, “manny,” tutor, substitute teacher, and volunteer - Experience caring for all ages, multiples, in-home and on outings - Experience in homes and classrooms of children with special needs - Flexible childcare style to be consistent with your family’s methods - Welcoming and open-minded to all family types and beliefs - Energetic and positive attitude towards learning and play - Safety conscious and always present in the moment - Pet friendly, zero allergies, non-smoker/drugs - CPR and first-aid certified (renewed February 2026) I can provide enhanced background check results from 8/29/23. It is a bit pricey to renew so I've chosen not to. However, I'd gladly submit a new check if a family wishes to purchase one. Same for motor vehicle check (perfect driving record). I’m open to provide transportation for outings using my reliable and spacious SUV. I have an adjustable car seat and booster, or we can use yours. Trips to the park and playgrounds are my favorite! I’m looking forward to chatting with you about your family’s childcare needs. Feel free to send me a message any time!

Thomas is amazing! Super professional and on top of everything. He did wonderfully with our 1 year old (who is quite selective with his caregivers). I particularly love the attention to detail he has to what our little one needs. He really cares about how best to take care of him. He’s very open and transparent with his availabilities and we enjoy working with him for date nights or other things we need coverage.

Hi, my name is Mavis, I graduated from college a couple of years ago and worked as a graphic designer and artist for a while. I recently went back to school for some professional training. I started babysitting 9 years ago, I’ve been giving care to infants, toddlers and older kids. At the same time, I work with kids in age 3-14 as an art teacher. I get along with kids pretty well, and I enjoy my time with them. I am a patient and caring person. I like animals, especially dogs. In my past caregiving experience, I usually make art with kids, play the piano, go on walks to parks, pickup and provide simple meals, singing, dancing, reading books, etc. I am looking forward to meet your family and offer my help!

Mavis is great with our now 11 month old. Our daughter is always excited to see Mavis, she smiles and reaches out for Mavis when she shows up. Mavis has also been great with our dog, who is not a typical "easy" dog. Communication is very important to me, and Mavis has also proven herself to be a great communicator via phone and in person. She also send photos when I am at work, an added bonus for a mama who is missing her baby girl.

Hi my name is Abby Raschkow and I go to Seattle pacific university and I am studying nursing. I love being a sitter because I love kids and want to be a pediatric nurse so I believe babysitting is great experience for my future career. I have also taken many anatomy/psychology classes so I have learned a lot about kids and their big emotions.

Abigail has been coming to help out at our house with our 6 month and 5 year old. She is very patient and kind with the baby and happy to learn whatever I share about managing my little one. There was a weekend when my little one was younger and fussy. Abigail took her on extended walks to keep her engaged and soothed. She has also won over my 5 year old who loves spending evenings playing with Abigail.

Hi! My name is Kestrel and I'm 31 years old, born and raised in Seattle! I love spending time with little humans and supporting families. When you choose to hire me as your nanny, you're entrusting me not only with your child's safety and wellbeing, but with their childhood; their sense of wonder, their sense of security, their future memories. I strive to build genuine trust and connection and follow their lead whenever possible. I love reading aloud, coloring, making art, listening to music, and playing outside! My educational background is in psychology and communications, and I've taken several courses on child development. I've had several wonderful experiences caring for neurodivergent kids, including nonverbal kids and kids with high support needs. Outside of nannying, I work part-time as a freelance editor and continue to study editing through the University of Washington. I'm bilingual (English and Brazilian Portuguese), an animal lover, a dog mom, and a proud auntie to two amazing kids! On my days off, you can find me treasure hunting at thrift stores and flea markets, out to brunch with my family, or enjoying nature.

Hello, My name is Sarah, and I am a single mom living in Edmonds with my 16-year-old son. While working in childcare facilities, I have seen first-hand how the children can become unintentionally overlooked due to an overcrowded setting. I know peace-of-mind is necessary when finding a caretaker for your child, and that is something I am willing and wanting to provide.

I’m a dependable, patient, and easygoing dad to a 1-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy, so I understand firsthand how important trust, safety, and consistency are when it comes to childcare. I’m comfortable helping with day-to-day routines like meals, playtime, homework help, bedtime routines, and keeping things tidy while making sure kids stay engaged and cared for. I’m especially good at staying calm under pressure, communicating clearly, and adapting to different personalities and family routines. I know every child is different, and I try to create an environment where kids feel comfortable, supported, and safe. I’m also comfortable around pets, helping with light household tasks if needed, and handling higher-energy kids with patience and structure. My goal is to be someone families can genuinely rely on and feel good about having around their home.

I'm a nurturing firstborn and current psychology student with years of hands-on caregiving experience. Growing up as the big sister, I naturally took on the role of caregiver; managing routines, providing emotional support, and creating a safe, fun environment for my younger brother as well as cousins. That experience, combined with my studies in psychology, has given me a deeper understanding of children’s needs, development, and emotions. Parents describe me as dependable, patient, and engaging, and I love making kids feel both cared for and excited to learn and play. Whether it’s after-school routines, weekend care, or special occasions, I bring warmth, responsibility, and a genuine love for children to every family I work with.
