I’m your typically 25 year old trying to make some extra income.I have my Associates of the Arts degree, Associates of the Arts in Teachers Education as well as a certificate in business management. I am ONLY available for occasional/date night babysitting opportunities in University Place/Tacoma/Lakewood area! *I am fully vaccinated against covid* I am currently employed at University Place School District as a Para-Educator in the Transitional Kindergarten program! With that I am only available for date night care. I am the oldest of 4 kids with all of many different ages (22,13 and 12). Way back to 2011 my dad lost his job when the economy tanked he went back to school while my mom was the only working and we had 2 big surprises pop up! She had my brother and my sister durning this time which made me grow into a bigger role of big sister/babysitter/2nd mom. Therefore I have experience with all ages and even children with disabilities. For 3 years I worked at the Morgan YMCA teaching swim lessons to all ages (6months-adults), did lifeguarding and also participated in a swim program called Swimming for Exceptional Children. I am no longer certified still in lifeguarding. However, I am certified in CPR/AED, First Aid, and Oxygen. Through my previous job at the Morgan YMCA I have taking training courses such as child abuse prevention, sexual harassment, blood born pathogens, hazard communication, ALICE, listen first and much more. I am non-smoking, have references, have access to a car/have a license, as well as willing to take a background check or do an interview prior to occasional babysitting gig.
