Hello, My name is Finn! Being a good role model for children is extremely important to me, especially with how prevalent the internet has been. I strive to be someone who can consistently do activities and be engaged with the kids I’m with instead of sitting them in front of a screen. I’m a very creative person, so I’m always ready to do arts and crafts with a kid, and maybe try to teach them how to make some new things on their own. I’m the eldest of 4, with all sisters, so I’ve been through the ringer with taking care of them all—even two of them as babies! I loved in a single-parent household, so there were many times where I had to step up and be the one to take care of them for the night. Before I graduated, I used to be a Math tutor for other high school students. I’ve held classes for web-coding as well, and while I know your child won’t be doing that, there’s hundreds of other topics that I would be happy to teach. I’ve worked with various types of kids before, and have a good amount of experience with Autistic kids. I am very aware of the sensory and communication issues they may have, and can maturely handle meltdowns as well. Most of my babysitting experience is with family and through volunteering for some events, but I would love to show that I’m able to do more work in the field.

Hello! My name is Rachel, and I am currently a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am in my junior year, and am working towards a B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Education and Educational Services. As of now, I am hoping to be a school psychologist. I have always had a passion for working with kids, and strive to make a creative, engaging, and thoughtful environment! Much of my childcare volunteer and paid work revolves around managing large groups of elementary aged students in educational activities, such as the Boys and Girls Club, and being a trail guide at the Janesville Outdoor Learning Lab. I have a lot of experience facilitating and creating unique projects, games, and activities for children to complete that are both fun and educational! I have worked both in large groups of kids (up to 30), and one-on-one in a tutoring/babysitting environment. Additionally, I am CPR and First Aid Certified, and trained in handling Blood-Borne Pathogens. Hello!! I have been taking care of kids for about 6 years, the last 2 and a half I have been working full time with 2 kids that are now 2 and a half and 7 months. I have experience with newborns up to 12 years of age. I am a languages teacher, I was teaching English and French to first and third graders. I love pets (specially those who have hair 🐶🐱🐰. I like cooking healthy meals, I like playing outdoors.

I have two boys of my own and am looking to take care of another child or two! I spent many years babysitting, working in a child care facility, and nannying before having my own children! I love kids and pets and love spending time outdoors! I also love to cook and do crafts!

I grew up in a big family and have 19 nieces and nephews, so caring for kids has always been a big part of my life. I currently work as an in-home caregiver and a child mentor, with training in behavioral therapy, child trauma, emotional development, and mentorship. As a child mentor, I help kids build confidence, work through emotional challenges, and learn healthy coping and communication skills. I’m energetic, patient, and caring, and I always strive to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment for every child. I’m also happy to help with light housework, errands, tidying up, and other household tasks to make your day smoother. I love spending time and getting to know the kids that I meet I find that they can be amazing conversationalists and very imaginative as well, that’s something I admire. They are all different from in their own ways but that just makes everything even more fun. Throughout high school I have done a lot of babysitting and dog-sitting. I was once a camp counselor at two different camps and I am aspiring to be an elementary school teacher, and hope to be one by next spring. I am very organizing and love to plan ahead. I am really creative and enjoy making and sharing many different art projects with others.
