Hello! My name is Ava and I am a Freshman at WVU studying Communication Sciences and Disorders. I am looking for babysitting, pet sitting, or house keeping for primarily weekend days. I am on track to become a speech pathologist, so working with younger kids is something I really enjoying learning about, as well as learning how to communicate with them more efficiently. I also learned a lot through having a big family with lots of cousins, and being one of the older siblings you have to be an on call nanny a lot of the time. Over the summer of 2021 I babysat 3 foster care children, which was my first experience being employed primarily through child care. I really enjoyed it, but had to give it up because it did not fit around my schools schedule. I loved working with the kids and taking them to the pool or park on hot summer days and maybe getting ice cream after for a treat! Working with kids for me is a helpful learning tool for my future and is something I genuinely get excited to do in a day. I would be happy to help with pet care, as I love animals as well! Also, I am not opposed to housekeeping positions, or housekeeping involved in the babysitting environment.
