I have been working with kids since I was in high school. I was a tutor for elementary school kids and a babysitter for multiple kids back then. I went to Marshall University and graduated with my BBA in Business Management as well as minors in both Entrepreneurship and Marketing in 2011. I began working with kids again a year later at Kiwanis Day Care Center. I worked in the two infant rooms (6 weeks - 6 months and 6 months - 1 year) before becoming the assistant teacher in the 6 weeks - 6 month room. I worked in that room until being promoted to administrative assistant/assistant director. I eventually left that job and went to work at Trinity Day Care Center. I worked with all the ages of kids in all the different rooms before becoming the lead teacher in the two-year old room. I left that job Read more because we moved to Mingo County. I became a Head Start assistant teacher in a Pre-K standalone collaborative classroom working with 3-5 year olds. I worked at that position until I had my little boy and decided to stay home with him. I am currently babysitting a one-year-old girl along with my own son in my home. I am certified in Child and Adult First Aid/CPR. I have a Food Handler's card. I have attended many trainings and classes that have taught me to care for children as well as how to teach them a variety of things no matter the age group. My baby boy's name is Jameson. He will be two in September. I love taking care of and teaching kids, and I would be happy to have the opportunity to watch your child or children, as well.
