I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy helping and caring for others. I love kids’ energy, imagination, and seeing the world through their eyes. I enjoy playing board games, doing crafts, baking, cooking, and finding fun ways to keep children happy and entertained. I also take pride in being a helping hand to parents and making their day a little easier. I have experience caring for children from newborns through age 14, including babysitting up to three children at a time. I have volunteered at my local elementary school, helping in classrooms and assisting office staff. My mother is a teacher, so I’ve also spent a lot of time learning from her and helping in her classroom. I would describe myself as patient, caring, nurturing, responsible, and calm. I’m comfortable staying calm in stressful situations and I believe routines are important, especially when it comes to bedtime.
