Seeking Experienced Daytime Caregiver for 76-Year-Old Mother – East Scottsdale

We are looking for a kind, dependable, calm, and emotionally mature caregiver to help care for my 76-year-old mother in East Scottsdale near 132nd St & Via Linda.

This is a hands-on caregiving role. Reliability is extremely important.

Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with activities of daily living
• Helping with walking/mobility
• Assisting her in and out of bed (patient is approximately 140 lbs)
• Helping with eating and hydration
• Assisting with restroom/toileting needs
• Bathing and hygiene assistance
• Cleaning/changing as needed
• Laundry and light caregiving-related housekeeping
• Food preparation
• Medication reminders
• Providing attentive companionship and support
• Occasional transportation to doctor appointments may be needed

Requirements:
• Prior caregiving or elder-care experience required
• Must be comfortable assisting with toileting and bathing
• Must be comfortable providing direct hands-on physical assistance
• Calm, patient, compassionate, and emotionally mature
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive to our home
• Burmese-speaking is a major plus, as she speaks Burmese exclusively
• Non-smoker only
• Please provide 1–2 references

Additional Information:
• Family members are usually present in the home
• No pets in the home environment

Schedule:
• Daytime hours
• Approximately 8 hours/day
• 5–7 days/week
• Expected need for approximately 4–6 weeks, possibly longer

Compensation:
• $22–25/hour depending on experience

Because caregiver-patient fit is important, the first shift will be considered a paid trial shift, and either side may decide not to continue afterward if it is not a good fit.
