Hello. We need care for an elderly gentleman with dementia in Orange County. He lives in a full-time care facility. However, he needs reliable transportation to and from medical appointments. We can provide details over the phone of his symptoms in appointments, but need someone there to help serve as a patient advocate since he is likely to not remember his symptoms due to his dementia. So, primary duties are transportation, waiting with him at appointments, helping him sign in for appointments, and going with him to medical appointments to make sure he gets treatment (and we can be on the phone with you at the appointments as needed). We live in Los Angeles. So, we are looking for someone who can provide this care during the week when we are unable to go down to OC. This would be for 1-2 times per week. We can pay mileage or reimburse for ubers/lyft.
