My parents live in the retirement community with all levels of care. My dad recently broke his hip and is in skilled nursing. We had to move my mom from their apartment into a memory care/respite care in the same building as my dad. Although they are near each other, my mom is not allowed to visit my dad unless she is accompanied by someone. They have been married for 70 years and are not used to being apart from each other. I would like someone to check out my mom and walk her down to the hallway so she can sit with my dad for a few hours.
