We need hands-on care for my disabled mother in Ojai, CA (cognitive and physical disability).

She needs occasional assistance with the following:

*bathing, dressing, and medication schedules
*meal preparation and companionship (help with sewing, crafting, etc.)
*encouraging her to do physical therapy exercise and stay active (including swimming in pool or going outside to garden)
*light housekeeping (meal prep, dishes, garbage, laundry, sweeping, etc.).
*transportation in your own vehicle or accompanying her on rides with a local medical support van to/from appointments
*she might also ask you to run errands or help her feed pets.

Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with dogs and cats, is CPR / first-aid trained, has own vehicle, and can lift 50lbs to assist with mobility.

Job is 3-4 hours / day on Tue and Thu, with some weekends available
