Hello! I am looking for someone experienced with senior care/companionship for my mom, who is 72 years old with moderate dementia (Alzheimer’s). I am my mom and dad’s primary caregiver and they currently live with me. My mom has been expressing the desire to get out of the house more, going on walks, visiting the beach or parks, etc., and it is hard for me to have time to do these things while having a full time job. In addition to being someone who could help keep her company and take her on outings, I would also like to find someone who would be willing to take her to social events at the Alzheimer’s Association in SD. If possible, light housekeeping in the kitchen and living room would be a plus! You'd be responsible for transporting to/from social events and places to enjoy the outdoors, like the beach, parks, etc., so reliable transportation is necessary. We also have 2 small senior dogs that do not shed, FYI :) very flexible on the schedule/frequency as well!
