My father has cardiorenal syndrome and receives 28 hours/week of VA palliative care, which does not cover all his daily needs. He requires additional support with cooking, medication organization/administration reminders, basic mobility assistance, and help with daily routines. Supplemental care also includes transportation to appointments, coordination with medical providers, monitoring symptoms, and general safety oversight. CPR/First Aid knowledge is recommended due to his condition and limited mobility.
