Seeking care companion to visit elderly woman approx. 3 times a week for 3 hours to assist with meal preparation, supervising showers, ensuring meds and oxygen are being used properly, and performing light housework (e.g. laundry, taking trash to curb, tidying). It would be nice if the companion also could be friendly and make it feel like a social visit more than just medical. Client is interested in gardening, crafts, new-age crystals, and baking.
Client is immunocompromised, mobility impaired due to arthritic condition, and has a recent back fracture from a fall. She also has lung cancer and needs to use oxygen and keep herself fed but sometimes resists.
Prefer someone with comfort checking oxygen/temperature (we have the devices).
CPR and first aid certifications, full vaccinations required.
