Hi! I am looking for someone who would be interested in dropping in to check on my mom for me while I am at work maybe a couple days a week. Just to make sure she has taken her medication, eaten, get her mail for her and just to provide some company. She had a heart attack in December and is in heart failure, her heart is only functioning right now at 14%., she is also a type 1 diabetic so experience with that is great. She lives in a great low-income elderly housing development and is home and doing really well caring for herself. She does have nursing support come in twice a week for about an hour at a time to take her vitals etc. and someone to come in and do light housekeeping and laundry. I am not well and have been having difficulty maintaing balance between work and my home life and have a teenager and husband who need me at home after work to maintain a routine as well as take time to care for myself.
