My mother is 84 years old. She has mobility issues, vasculitis, pulmonary hypertension and COPD. She requires daily assistance with toileting, dressing, meal prep, and companionship. Mom has anxiety, depression and sundowning syndromes. I have currently relocated to my mother's house and work from home for YNHH in the spare office to care for her in the evenings.
If her scheduled caregiver from VNA Care Connection is unable to come, I have no backup caregiver resource in place.
I am looking for someone willing to travel to Shelton CT who can fill in with short notice (1 day at the minimum).
I handle travel to appts, groceries, etc.
