I would love for my mother to go to an adult center in the afternoons since she is a very late riser to socialize. I feel she's getting older and frailer just sitting around the house while I work. She needs social interaction with people her own age, but facilities near me don't take patients on oxygen so I can't sign her up, she also has memory issues and would need help to remember to use her inhaler when she is feeling out of breath. She will sit in a wheelchair only if there is a cushion on the seat too which I have. Being her oxygen is her issue the only way to get her around outside the house is a chair.
