Post-Surgery Caregiver Needed
Looking for a compassionate caregiver to support a patient after surgery:
• Transportation: Assist with travel from the doctor’s office to the hotel. The patient can arrange Uber; the cost of the ride will be deducted from caregiver pay.
• Recovery Support: Help the patient get in and out of bed as needed and monitor for comfort and safety during recovery.
• Monitoring: Oversee the patient’s condition after surgery; CPR knowledge is required.
• Housekeeping: Not required.
• Hours: Caregiver is needed to be present at the beginning of the day; however, the primary responsibilities occur after surgery. Some downtime may occur prior to surgery. Shift could be up to 12 hours, but actual active care is way shorter.
• Pay: $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience.
This is a very easy, low-stress position — mostly monitoring and light assistance, no heavy lifting or cleaning required. Applicants should be reliable in showing up and responsible while on duty.
Care Recipient
- Female
- Very receptive to outside help
- Age range: Under 55 years old
