My father-in-law had a stroke in June and now resides in Douglasville at a memory care facility. Physically he's very strong, but he's lost most of his long-term memory, and his short-term memory isn't great. He's really pleasant, a fascinating person, and he just needs some company. He's been really confused and anxious about where he is and where his wife is. Sit with him and watch Breaking Bad, read to him, or play chess. Just keep him company and go outside and to the cafeteria with him for lunch.
