I am looking for a kind, patient, and dependable person to provide companion care for my father, who is in his late 70s. The position would be 2–3 days per week for about 5 hours each visit.

The primary role is simply to spend time with him and provide light support, including:

• Sitting and talking with him / keeping him company
• Helping straighten up his room
• Preparing or serving lunch
• Reminding or assisting with medications
• Providing a calm and supportive presence

Additional details:

• Must be kind, patient, and dependable
• Comfortable around dogs (we have friendly dogs in the home) they can be put in the enclosed garage if necessary
• Daily pay available
