Overview
We are seeking a kind, patient, and reliable caregiver for an elderly woman who is mostly home-bound. The primary goal is to provide daily support, ensuring her safety, comfort, and well-being through companionship and basic personal care.
Key Responsibilities
• Personal Care: Assist with "self-cleaning" (bathing, grooming, and hygiene).
• Companionship: Engage in conversation and provide a friendly, supportive presence and occasional accompaniment to doctor appointments.
• Medication Management: Provide reminders and ensure medications are taken on schedule.
• Meal Assistance: Heat up pre-prepared meals using the microwave and ensure hydration.
• Safety Monitoring: Maintain a safe environment and provide standby assistance to prevent falls.
Requirements
• Experience in elderly care or home health.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate "people-first" attitude.
• Ability to handle physical tasks associated with personal hygiene assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Experience with medication reminders and scheduling.
Schedule & Compensation
• Location: Smyrna, GA
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Pay: $13–$15/hour based on experience
