My husband has dementia. I cannot leave him alone.
I need someone to watch him while I run errands, Dr. appointments etc. He uses a walker and the caregiver needs to walk behind him to make sure he is steady on his feet.
When he eats he needs to be supervised. To prevent aspiration,
he eats one bite of food followed by one sip of water.
He usually watches TV or plays strategy games on the computer.
