My grandfather's primary caregiver will be out of town June 7-8 and we need someone to spend a few hours per day in the home with him to assist with meal preparation, ensuring he takes his medications, and/or helping with basic tasks. He does not need assistance dressing, bathing, or using the restroom, but he does have limited mobility (uses a walker) and cannot spend a full day alone. Should an emergency arise, the caregiver would need to assist with transporting him to a nearby hospital or calling an ambulance--though we don't anticipate any medical events occurring.
