Summary:
Compassionate, experienced, high-level caregiver needed for part-time overnight private duty care in a peaceful apartment setting. Support a very elderly woman with ADLs, safety, medication management, and 1-3 bathroom trips overnight. Rewarding role with meaningful impact—work directly for family, no agency.
Key Duties:
- Overnight assistance with bathroom visits, specific morning dressing/routine, breakfast retrieval (no cooking) with food cut up
- Vital signs monitoring as needed, documentation, and morning med assistance
- Meal support, morning dog feeding/meds
- Safe transfers/mobility help (walker and wheelchair)
- Gentle short-term memory reminders
- Infection control and good family communication
Requirements:
- Active CNA certification OR experienced caregiver; CPR/First Aid a plus
- Experience with senior transfers, overnight care, and assistance with medication
- Comfortable with small dog -will feed in morning
- Physical ability needed for lifting/transfers
- Reliable, calm, and cheerful
- Paid training sessions provided
- Reliable transportation; must be on time
Details:
- Shift: 11pm–8am, Friday nights. As needed for occasional call-off other times if possible, but not necessary.
- Pay: $25.00 per hour to start; increases are included
- Private position—background checks required
