Looking for Home Health Aide Companion Care for our mom. We currently have one aide who comes over 8 hours a week and would like to add another 3 -4 hours on Friday, Saturday or Sunday from 1030-230. Day/Times are flexible. Mom is 84 with Alzheimers and lives independently with our dad who is a healthy 87. Typical day is : 1030 help mom out of bed, make her breakfast, coffee, morning pills. Give her a shower in her shower chair, she does great with cueing. Dry her, lotion, get dressed, blow dry hair and curling iron, help her brush her teeth with cueing. Then she can help you with folding laundry, changing sheets or making bed, telling stories, playing games. She typically naps while you continue laundry, load/empty dishwasher, simple meal prep. Please make mom lunch have her midday pills. Dad is present but may head out for the day to get a break, or come and go doing errands.
