My mom is 86 and lives with us. We are looking for a full time care provider and anticipate 30-40 hours/week on Monday-Friday. There may be some need for flexibility based on our work schedules. She was recently diagnosed with mild to moderate dementia and has hearing loss for which she uses hearing aids. She is able to walk up and down stairs and able to feed and do some basic care for herself. She needs some help and encouragement with daily exercise and self care (brushing her hair, picking clothes, etc).. She splits her time between Newton and Bedford, where my sister lives. Ideally, we would like someone who can go to both/either locations. The job includes light housework and meal prep. Candidates must have a clean driving record, excellent references and comfort with pets (we have two friendly dogs).
