We are looking for a reliable part-time caregiver for an 84-yy fully able-bodied senior living in Miller's Grant Lutheran Village. Need assistance with preparing &/or reheating meals, and/or escorting to the onsite bistro for lunch/dinner, escorting to onsite activities (hair dressing, classes, meetings), walking around the outside grounds for exercise, and assisting with the TV remote control. If you are looking to work with an older person with diminished memory capacity, then this may be a great opportunity for you. Mostly, we need someone to provide companionship. She is not always keen on having someone follow her around or being with her. She doesn't have many friends as she can't remember their names, and has lived in the community for over 10 years, so she is generally bored with most of the activities offered. On-site parking is available.
