We are seeking a kind, patient, and reliable Companion Caregiver to provide personal support and companionship for an 84-year-old woman living in her home. Must be OK with a small dog on premises.

Needed for Saturday and Sunday mornings 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The location is near I75 and Dixie Highway in Clarkston.

The ideal candidate will help maintain her comfort, independence, and quality of life through daily assistance, light household support, and genuine companionship.

Responsibilities:

Provide friendly companionship and engaging conversation

Assist with light household duties (tidying, laundry, meal preparation)

Offer medication and appointment reminders

Support with errands, grocery shopping.

Accompany to appointments or social outings as needed

Monitor and report any changes in health, mood, or routine

Encourage a positive and active lifestyle within her comfort level

Qualifications:

Prior experience in senior care, home care, or companionship preferred

Kind, trustworthy, and respectful demeanor

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable)

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
