I am in need of additional assistance while I will be out of the country (Sept 20-28) visiting our daughter who is studying abroad. I already have a weekly plan established with Elder Network in Rochester. They take him out of the house for socialization twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays). They will be able to fill in some more days while we are gone but am looking for someone to possibly stay the night with him in our home (just in case of an emergency). He normally sleeps all night and doesn't need anything done for him. I just need someone to be there in case he would need something. He wears depends for urinary incontinence but he changes these himself. I might also be looking for someone to help give him something to do for a few hours during the day too (but not every day). He is at the point in disease progression where he doesn't take initiative to do things so needs encouragement to do something other than sit and sleep.
