I am seeking dependable in-home support for my father, Will, 90, who was recently diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer’s. Dad remains energetic and social, yet his memory lapses and impulsive behavior are becoming more frequent, and daytime coverage has become a growing concern for our family.

Although he still enjoys tending to the yard and chatting with neighbors, these activities now carry real safety risks. For example, he recently attempted to mow the lawn on an 80-degree afternoon wearing only his underwear. Instances like this highlight the need for regular supervision, gentle redirection, and safeguards against falls or wandering.

Daily personal care is another area where he needs assistance. He also requires help getting in and out of the bathtub and benefits from reminders to shower, dress appropriately, go to the bathroom, and stay hydrated.

During evenings family can be with him, but weekday daytime hours are where I need the help.
