We need hands-on care to take care of my mother in Lexington. She has Parkinson's and her medication timing has to be exact. There may be some light tidying or meal prep. She is wheelchair bound and can transfer with a board most of the time. She needs companionship, someone that will stay with her and keep her occupied. She is a great person and loves talking with people! She was a therapist for over 40 years and is an excellent listener. Help with ordering or picking up groceries, prescriptions, etc. appreciated. When you take her to her doctor's appointments, bear in mind that transfers from wheelchair to vehicles take time and care, so be sure to allow for this. We'd love to have a CNA, or at least CPR / first-aid training. RELIABILITY is crucial! We're hoping to find someone that will care for her as much as we do. :)
