My mother is almost 77 and is possibly the sweetest person in the world. She has terrible arthritis in her neck, back, knee and hip, and is having a really hard time getting around...but is determined to do most things on her own. I am terrified she is going to fall and get hurt even worse.

I cannot always get to all her appointments, especially those where she is seeing pain management and getting injections. She does not need to drive to and from those appointments, and honestly needs to be in a wheelchair to get her around the large doctor office. I need some help with a few of her pain management appointments regarding transportation, and ensuring that she gets home safely and is comfortable in her chair so she can rest afterwards.

I'm also looking for someone that can provide light cleaning and maybe running errands.

I've never done this before and don't know what to say. My father is around but has CHF, dementia and Type 2 Diabetes. He is really of no help.
