My mother-in-law (she lives alone, 45 mins away from us) needs assistance in getting dinner for herself weekdays - she is non-insulin diabetic and I have gotten meals for her in the freezer which just need heating up, but she forgets they are there and then just eats "whatever is around". I have been working with her and her doctors to improve her diet so she can avoid insulin (she loathes needles). Her doc suggested maybe someone to help with getting meals prepared and she was very much ok with the idea. I chimed in that also help with laundry (her washer and dryer are downstairs in her basement) which she had previously expressed she doesn't like having to go down the stairs.
