We are seeking an experienced and compassionate caregiver to provide support for an individual navigating illness. This role focuses on companionship, transportation, and meal preparation, with the understanding that care needs may evolve and require increased support over time. Hours to be discussed, but will be part time, 15-20/week.
Responsibilities:
· Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support
· Assist with transportation to appointments and errands
· Prepare meals and support basic daily routines
· Adapt to changing care needs as required
Preferred Qualifications:
· Prior experience supporting individuals through serious illness
· Experience with hospice care is strongly preferred
· Willingness to learn medication management and provide attentive care
· Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
· Residence in or near the Lawrence Township area
· Strong communication skills, with a preference for native English speakers
· References required
