We are looking for a compassionate, reliable caregiver to provide in-home senior care for mom living with Alzheimer’s disease. The ideal candidate will have experience in dementia care, demonstrate patience, and create a safe, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship while I am working in the house and also be comfortable caring for mom alone if needed
- Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Medication reminders and monitoring
- Meal preparation
- Companionship and engagement in memory-friendly activities
- Safety supervision to prevent falls and wandering
- Light housekeeping (laundry, tidying common areas)
- Occasional errands (pick up groceries)
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, or memory care
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Ability to manage behavioral changes calmly
- Physical ability to assist with mobility
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license
Schedule:
- Flexible to start, 2-3 days per week, some weekends, sleep-in on occasion, will work with your schedule
Location:
West Windsor, NJ
Competitive hourly rate based on experience. [$25-30]
