My mom was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's and dementia and refuses to live with either my sister and I. She prides herself in being independent. We are trying to safely provide her with her wishes, however, it has been more more difficult as time goes on.

My mom needs a regular set schedule, as she does everything is a schedule. She would need some light cleaning, laundry, some meal prep so she can just heat up the meals as she can no longer cook, light food shopping and a reminder to shower. Though you will not need to help with the shower but to be able to stay close and listen in case she does need some kind of help. I was also hoping for maybe 1 day a week with some kind of fun. Of course nothing too complicated. Maybe read a book to her, a puzzle, something!

We would love to have someone with experience with Parkinson's and Dementia though not required. Elder care does take a special person, so experience with the elder would also be great! I would like a set schedule of 3 days a week for a few hours each day.
