My mom is a wonderful person and the time has come to get her a little extra help so my dad can take a break from being her sole caretaker. She can no longer drive and doesn’t like to leave the house. Light housekeeping and some cooking would be beneficial. They need help organizing pills to take each day. Occasional doctor visits and making appointments. General social time, she likes to do puzzles. Making sure everyone is showered and dressed for the day and other general hygiene like trimming nails, putting on lotion, etc. She can still do most things around the house for herself but she is unstable and forgetful. My dad just fell and broke his wrist so his abilities to do everything for her are limited now.
